6; GravyThief; Fri 4th Aug 2017; Do all these AGS 101 mods (incl. ones added to original GBAs or AGS 001 SPs) use backlit screens from the actual GBA SP AGS 101, or are they 'new' cloned ones?
I'm still waiting for my second order to arrive, really looking forward to do another mod. I got my screens from "Linda Liu store" on AliExpress. Around 32 USD per screen shipped. Its called "Original new Screen LCD Backlit Brighter Highlight AGS-101 For Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP GBA SP".

Edit: you can try to get around this by soldering additional wires or adjusting the potentiometer but the results will not be as good as a properly
The GBA SP to the right is an stock AGS-101 using a genuine 850mAh NDS battery (I can’t remember the age of the battery) Both are on their default brightness and about 50% volume using the SP’s speaker. Both are running the attract/demo mode of Dr. MARIO - Famicom classic cartridge. Both are AGS-101 boards. FunnyPlaying IPS Red LED in 2hrs
